As a fourth-year dental student I believe that my BDS training should involve more than just attaining a degree, I see dental school as a place to thrive. I have chosen not to conform to the norm by waiting until graduation to become the best dentist I can possibly be. University has given me the time and the opportunities to accelerate my learning beyond the curriculum, developing my communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
In working to fulfil my ambition, I also have a passion for giving something back. Through my extensive charity and humanitarian work, presidency of the KCL Dental Society, external dental learning, and membership of the Universities Royal Naval Unit, I am setting myself on a path to making a positive difference, way beyond the four walls of the clinic.
